My 1st post on this forum !
I have just received this awesome sub 168000 with the matt dial !
Had a full service by a Rolex authorised service centre and they replaced the bezel insert and i think maybe the hands. This is one of the very few that came out from factory with the matt dial without the white gold markers. The person that i got this watch from ,got it from the original owner in 1992 who was his work mate.He is not a vintage collector and does not know the dial differences (matt and gloss) and all servicing has been done by Rolex since then. Serial number 972#### I have enjoyed visiting this forum and would appreciate you feedback - thank you ! |

Welcome and congrats on a very nice looking 168000. That is one of the watches that I am always keeping a eye out for, maybe I will pick one up for a good price someday. Enjoy....

Welcome, nice 168000 ! Yes hands and bezel insert have been changed, so now you can try to found original tritrium instead of luminova. Claps was also changed by service center ( letter S on the top ) but this is not a problem. Take care of this beauty ! Congratulations. |

Congrats on the 168000, there are very few 168000's to begin with, even fewer with a Matte dial! Nice find & pick up, welcome to the forum.
