Used Rolex GMT II, Sub or Sea dweller?

Having a budget of £3k which watch would you choose? I can't seem to decide between.

Chris.

Hi Chris,
It is a matter of taste as usual.
You will get different answers therefore......
These are different types of watches as well.....
Me myself I wouldn“t go for a GMT II instead of a GMT I if....
From the classical perspective I guess the Sub would be the right choice.
But I would also go for the SD personally

You can't go wrong with any of the three you mentioned! Keep trying them on and you'll know! Good luck!

I'd go GMT II just for the extra time zone.

The Sub is a classic though...

All a good choice of watches but the GMT11 is quite a versatile watch just change the bezel insert then you have a new looking watch.

It's a matter of personal preference. I'll go for the SD in this case.

All are great ! Try each one on and see which one 'fits' you best ! I do predict that you will end up owning ALL of them one day !

I am not sure you can find a GMT for 3K. They are getting hotter on the used market all the time. I would pick the GMT II because of the extra time zone, if that is not important to you the the Sea-Dweller as everyone has a Sub.

Each are great references. The GMT is my choice. Try on all 3 and then decide.
Good luck,

Although I own SD and would choose it over the GMIIc, I would IMHO say that the GMTIIc is the more versatile watch, looks great as an everyday sports watch dressed in jeans and a T shirt, but also due to the fact of the polished centre links and ceramic bezel does not look out of place when dressed up to the nines.

Great choices...As Dan recommends try them on! The SD will obviously be a different fit. You can not go wrong on this one!

I'd say either SD or the Sub Date. Depends on which one feels more comfortable on your wrist. The triplock crown just does it for me
