Advice on this 1655
Can anyone advise on this 1655, looks like a service replacement bezel... but does the dial and hands look ok. Serial number begins with 53XXXXXX.
Many thanks in advance! |

Hi Howie,
It is definetely an MK IV bezel or service replacement. So are the dial (printing at "6"....) and hands (luminova) as well. But the watch looks OK and is in great shape |

agree with alex service bezel service dial and hands. best of both worlds a vintage look but a watch that actually glows!!!! collectors may not agree but as long as the price is right buy it and enjoy

Wouldn't as service replacement luminova dial just say 'swiss' and not 't swiss<25 t'.
Could it be a service replacement tritium dial? Thanks again! |

Agree with all the above, shame the minute hand is covering the date as the date wheel may have been changed to white too.
It is a personal preference how you look at it, but I agree with Sean it gives you the best of both worlds especially if it was a Rolex overhaul and has paperwork to prove. Very nice watch I love mine |

No, some late service dials had ''T<25 Swiss T'' printed on them but luminova plots. This was most probably came about with the dials already being printed and Rolex just using them up. P.s. I meant to say I'm not sure if the dial is Luminova, but the hands look to be as they appear to be slightly green. |

You were faster than me It is all that "snow white" that I´m pretty sure that it a service luminova one. But it can be proven in the dark very easy At the end of the day I wouldn´t care on that if you enjoy the watch and the price is appropriate |
