Engraved iner basel and fat buckle on Daytona
In what year did Rolex introduce the engraved inner Basel and fat buckle in Daytona’s? Thanks in advance.

Somebody more knowledgeable can answer but from pure observation it seems like 2008 V-serial introduces the fat buckle.
If I'd get a steel Daytona it would be tempting with a 116520 pre-fat buckle. |

According to Larry's (Tools) thread the engraved rehaut began in 2004. Not certain about the fat buckles. I've got one of each (fat and slender buckle) and can't see any advantage to either. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=31365 |
