Safari for a Montoya!

Just done a deal to exchange my Safari for a limited Edition Montoya. I only had the Safari for a couple of months but gaining 2 minutes a day was not good. Via Watchfinder, I got a full refund and a decent discount for the Montoya. Really pleased, and awaiting delivery of the new watch!

That’s not a glowing endorsement of the Watchfinder ‘AP approved service centre’.

Thanks Ash. Yes, I have bought 8 watches from Watchfinder in the past, and was really disappointed with what happened with the Safari. Before I bought it I was told the watch had been completely re-assembled, and any suspect parts replaced. Anyway, I accepted the new deal, and as they say, moving on....let’s hope the Montoya is ok!

my opinion... WF are on their arses. they seem to be dropping watches at the moment and offering dodgy prices .... I was offered a ridiculous price for an "in service" racing dial 116509.... what a joke. So frankly doesn't surprise me they are slipping, as I wonder how many of the Service centre are retained or furloughed at the moment. Glad to see they did the decent thing and swapped over for the Montoya though...nice swap.
