Black submariner dial

I recently bought a 116610LN. I took it to the AD to authenticate and they said the watch is authentic. But I noticed there is a detail different from what I see on forum. The dial of other black “sub" have a dent in the center, it seems a little angled frame. I tried to find it on mine with flash light and it just not there. I’m sure mine is flat and has very sharp edges. Do any of you guys know why? Do they have different method to paint the dial or something? I appreciate!

With “dent in the center” do you mean the depressed area surrounding the hands? Do you have pictures?

Editing - sorry, yes the dent is normal. Not sure if normal to not have one.

Thanks! Everyone is saying it is the way it should be. I’m scared! I’m pretty sure mine doesn’t have it.

I have a 116610LN that was purchased from an AD a month ago. As far as I can tell, there is no dimple on the dial.

The warranty shows that mine purchased in 2019. Could they possibly changed the production method recently?
