Incoming!

I am excited that my AD was able to sell me this piece. I also appreciate the extra swag!! Apparently they have to purchase the chocolates from Rolex at a cost of 30 Swiss francs?! I thought that was crazy.. but I will certainly enjoy them. Is wearing a Rolex hat too much? What do you guys think. Lol.

Congrats. Good choice. If you like the hat wear it, nothing wrong with that. Just a little surprised that the hat is blue. I would think Rolex would use their colors of Green and Yellow. Go figure. Enjoy the watch..

Congrats,. Nice hat too. My AD gave me a Rolex hat in Rolex green and a bit too much for me and have worn it.

I am. But my AD is not getting much gold pieces right now. It could be several months before I am able to buy the DD40 I like. I will wait :).

Congrats! Beautiful DJ!

They gave me a blue hat when I bought my 116500, but I’ve never worn it. But mine is not as subtle as yours.

Great pick up! The hat looks a lot more subtle than some I've seen, it looks nice.

One of the most eye catching of the modern normal references! And that’s a cool hat!

Congrats Josh. Have the 36 in blue and I think it’s the best dial in the DJ line up.

It shouldn't be too hard to find a datejust 41 in steel in stock at an AD. But the blue stick dial with fluted bezel seems to be the most popular combination given that they seem to sell for about $1000 more preowned compared to any other dial/bezel combination. So your chances of finding this specific combination in an AD window are a bit lower.

A lot of people are after the blue stick dial sky dweller and they decide to go for this piece when they realize it is unobtainable. I think that is a big factor.

Edit: this is based on my experience with Canadian preowned prices and availability. It may not reflect US
