Swap..maybe?
Hi guys,
What are your thoughts on swapping a Sub 114060 ND for a DJ 41MM ? Is this a crazy idea or does it have legs. I crave a classic watch and love the Datejust oystersteel/whitegold combo with sticks not numerals. Thoughts guys please |

I have a SubC and a 41 but with Romans not sticks.
Two completely different watches. This decision is yours as to which one YOU like best.

I'm not sure of the comparative MSRP but if you aren't getting chewed up then why not. Nice change. I'd prefer the new DJ to the maxi sub case personally. Fun choice to have.

If you have a pic of the DJ and maybe even of the sub as a comparo for folks, you may get more recommendations. But at the end of the day, the choice is up to you. Get what makes you happy!

A little more info needed, is it going to be your only watch.
I have a 114060 and a DJ41 fluted and jubilee with diamonds. I love the DJ for nights out and events and the sub more for every day. Both great watches, if you fancy a change, why not, or add the DJ. |

Not my only watch but I can't really justify the expense at the moment and would love a Datejust

I most definitely wouldn’t, but that’s just personal opinion

I think the (older) movement in your sub is a real bonus for the future. Add the DJ41 or a DJII (they are still available out there, great pieces/movement IMHO)

Two completely different watches. I would have both. If I could only have one I would keep the one I have and start saving. On the other hand, if you have fallen out of love with the Sub, your decision is easy. You've probably already made it.

I would only consider a swap like this with the new DJ 36, not the 41. And only if you are madly in love with the slimmer case design. But at the end of the day, the Sub is more useful, versatile than a DJ.

if you cant justify a DJ six digit expense, look for the older five digit DJ, some discounts are available for decent condition, without papers (half the price of a new DJ MSRP)
a six digit sub and a five digit DJ is a great combo sell the tag (looks like a kids toy) and omega (gold plating is coming off) if there is no sentimental value |
