Read a statement that resonated with me

I was scrolling through a forum elsewhere this morning and somebody mentioned that Omega had launched a special edition tourbillon watch , which apparently is something Rolex have never done and therefore Omega was a better watch manufacturer than Rolex.

That is not the part I want to get into

One of the responses that really resonated with me was the fact that Rolex is perhaps not a manufacturer of the most complicated or fine horological timepieces , but they are the absolute best at manufacturing a good,solid ,reliable and long lasting timepiece.

I love the fact that any Rolex is at heart Just a good, honest ,well made watch and to some degree not especially sophisticated but gets the job done.
