Aftermarket or genuine Rolex white gold?

If aftermarket, then absolutely sacrilege

I make no value judgement. Just said it wouldn’t get as dirty as a Jubilee.

Is the DJ SS?

a genuine bracelet will cost you more than getting a used day date with a bracelet

Your watch, do as you please.

But I don’t see the point, and the expense.

Not at all. If I remember correctly I think Rolex even offers the option on Datejusts 31mm and under. I see no issue on larger ones. They look good.

If you do it, post a pic.

Would you be mixing metal types?

I don’t even think it’ll fit, case shape of 5 digit DD is much more flat by the lugs, the DJ is curved. But if it works I’m all for it.

If this is something you like, I say go for it. Its not against the rules of Rolex to use a different bracelet. Its about you personal taste and preference

Just don't put a NATO strap on it. I cringe when I see that. :)

If I pay for the watch I can take the bracelet off and use it as a pocket watch if I want to. I don't get people on here always asking opinions and what's ok amd whats not....

agreed. It's your property and you are free to do what you want with it.

I wouldn't, going down is fine but not up, like a Jubilee on the DD.

The President bracelet is an option for the Ladies Datejust.

I have always thought that it was also an option for the Gold men's Datejusts too.
