Good catch,

I haven’t seen this episode and never noticed his watches before.

Chip has some serious skills for sure. I’m just not a fan of his signature two tone paint jobs with hand applied pinstriping where the colors meet. Way too many burnt orange paint jobs, but wow what a craftsman.

I'd imagine it is fairly beat up. Anyway, Coddington rules.

I would have to respectfully disagree. Although Coddington ( his crew ) produced some amazing cars, I was less impressed with the man himself. I met him on two occasions and he was not very cordial. It felt as if he believed that he was far superior to "the common guy".

I met Foose and he was very very down to earth. A really nice guy. Chip also gets fully involved with this builds and actually gets his hands dirty.

Regardless... They are both auto customization / design royalty right up there with Barris and Roth.

Not surprising.... Coddington seemed like a miserable SOB on most episodes of his show..... Chip just the opposite... for me he has the best car show going. Pretty sure thats not his only Rolex...will have to see what else shows up.

I agree.

Coddington was an arse. Being a traditional hot rod guy, Coddington's legacy of billet infested street rods is hardly something to celebrate

Foose was just a normal bloke when I met him, and very pleasant. His skills are up there with the best.

I also wouldn't agree about Barris either, unless you are talking about his brother Sam Barris?
I also met George Barris once......and once was enough.
