New to the brand....research done....incoming
Been researching on which one I would go with, and thank you to those that helped ! I wanted a date complication on my first one, and I really like the honey colored...or same call it faux patina, on the hour markers. So many choices, but the 1312 met all the criteria I was looking for, for my first venture into the brand. Wears very comfortably, put a new Panerai strap on immediately, and the strap change was very easy (I see the appeal with doing this often). Thanks again for those that helped with advice, and I’m sure this won’t be my last!
Have a great rest of week/weekend all! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Congratulations. I think you made a good choice. I am a big Panerai fan and enjoy the strap game as much as the watches sometimes. Enjoy.

Congrats on the new pick up!!! Now you need at least 6 to 8 more straps, that's the usual ratio for Panerais to straps!!!

Fantastic choice Rich. My friend’s dad works for Panerai USA and his choice is also the 1312. He says it’s everything a Panerai should be.

Congrats! Looks great. I am only recently discovering the Panerai brand and I am considering the same watch in 42mm with the bracelet. Curious, how thick is the watch and do you find it heavy? Thanks!

I forgot to tell you that my first Panerai was a 312.
A sexy beast but very top heavy watch. 1312 is slimmer (thanks to the new Calibre P.9010 instead of the P.9000) than the 312 which make it more wearable. In my research for my first Panerai here were the reasons that for me 312 is the perfect watch to enter Panerai world 1) 1950 case ( brushed with polished bezel) 2) Sandwich dial 3) in house movement with 3 days power reserve 4) date 5) automatic 6) crown guard 7) the easy change strap system (of course although there are some not so good stories about it) I guess that we were thinking the same for our first Panerai Now let the strapmania begin Big congrats again and enjoy it in the best of health Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
