Seiko Presage Enamel Incoming!
Hi all,
My first Seiko and super impressed! I recently got a Patek 5116G which has an enamel dial and really got interested in the art of enamelling. I saw this video and I knew I had to get this Seiko! Model number SPB045J1. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MXUzBvGv9pw When an AD was selling these for nearly half off I not only got myself one but also my father as a surprise. The quality is amazing especially for this price point, all in house by Seiko. The enamel dial is really special and I have tried my best to photograph it - apologies for the poor effort! Overall delighted to add this to my collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's difficult to capture enamel dials with camera, but you did a great job. I really like the blue hands

Many thanks - yes the blue hands certainly do stand out against the white enamel! I believe they are heat treated steel hands to get that blue when the light is on them otherwise they are almost black.

Love the enamel dials Seiko makes. Not only are they wonderful, but dismistify the perception that enamel only belongs in high horology pieces.

Completely agree - this one with the multi hands has shallow and deep area enamel and have to be perfect so the hands don’t get stuck but the colour is maintained. Most enamel dials just have a flat enamel which while still difficult is easier.

Nice. Congrats! I like the Shippo dials as well as these. I have seen neither in person. I bet they are stunning.

Once again Seiko offers some insane bang per buck. I feel like if you want affordable enamel dial its got to be Seiko or possibly the much smaller Anordain. I need to see both in person though
