For sale is an excellent condition 45mm titanium IWC Ingenieur Double Chronograph. The IW3865-03 is fresh from factory service with a two year warranty on the work performed. While at factory service the Ingenieur received a complete movement disassembly and overhaul, as well as a polishing of the case. The IWC features a brushed titanium case which is accented by a fixed smooth titanium bezel that is secured to the case by five screws. The IWC is mounted on a black rubber strap which is secured by a polished titanium tang buckle. The OEM strap contains some faint signs of wear, but has a good amount of use left. The black dial features applied polished hour markers, polished hands, date and day window apertures at 3 o’clock, and sub-dial registers at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. The movement used in the IW3865-03 is the IWC Calibre 79420 which features approximately 44 hours of power reserve. Overall the IWC is in excellent condition, but does contain a fairly noticeable mark on the edge of the bezel above 9 o’clock and some faint scratches in the crystal’s AR coating.
