Skx007 replacement rubber straps - UK
Before I start looking at eBay etc - anyone got any recommendations for a replacement genuine rubber strap for an skx007 in UK ?
Earlier today - watch just flew off my wrist. Luckily onto carpet |

Ouch. Good psa for us as I’ve never seen a Seiko oem resin snap like that.
Obviously, try eBay or googles. But you may also consider buying another Seiko just for the resin strap. $125 strap alone or $225 with a Seiko? Might be a good excuse. |

I use these: https://www.watchgecko.com/bonetto-c...er-watch-strap
Super comfortable, Seiko styling and free delivery in the UK. Uncle Seiko does a similar strap, too. Not sure how their UK distributor pricing compares.

The best strap for that watch imo would be a Uncle Seiko GL strap. |

It was a little tight, but they fit without much effort. I've used them on SKX and Tunas.

They are tight. I use to sell them, I recommend using spring bars with a 2mm middle section.

The problem with wedging them is they don't always let the ends of the spring fully extend into the lug holes. Which leads to it falling off your wrist. It has happened to me way to many times in the past. The best fix is getting the correct spring bars that fully enage. For this model of watch it is a 22nn x 2.0mm (or 1.78mm) x 1.2mm shoulderless spring bars.

Not an issue with mine. Fat Seiko bars and the pins are fully out.

Good deal.
Keep an eye on them. Others like myself have not been so lucky https://www.google.com/search?q=seik...hrome&ie=UTF-8 |
