Incredibly rare

This 3135 ratchet wheel screw came new without a slot, so it is utterly useless.

Rolex quality control ain't what it used to be

Going to out this up on eBay for 1million dollars

Will you 'cut' a slot in it?.........if you don't get any ebay takers, that is.

At least, it's threaded.
You RSC blokes want it all gift wrapped!

A real watchmaker of course makes the slot himself. So I think it is Rolex that checks the competence of its watchmakers, those who complain about the screw get to screw ETA movement.

Of course, but we're gonna keep this one for fun and giggles. Getting a new one is cheaper than making the slot.

I’ll give you $300,000 US for it. Is it a Northern Hemisphere screw or Southern Hemisphere?

Bas, For those of us who are not watchmakers , isn't the ratchet wheel also supposed to have gear teeth besides the slot?

Would you mind please posting how it is supposed to be configured ?

This is just the screw that hold it in place, regular old screw. Except it is useless lol

Southern Hemisphere screws have left hand threads and the head is on the opposite end but they all have slots.
