Daytona bracelet adjustments

Cant seem to get it right
Easy link closed it feels it's too tight even though I can move it up and down a bit
When its open it feels a bit loose

Any advice?

However you decide, loose or tight, I would recommend sizing it with the easy link closed. Just my two cents...

It took a little for me to get mine dead on how I wanted it, removing the links, adjusting the 3 spring bar positions the easy link is on and closing the easy link itself. Try moving the spring bar to the notch furthest out, close the easy link and then gauge how many links need removing without it being too tight. If needed after that you can always move the spring bar in to one of the other 2 notches to make it smaller.

Hmmm... have you tried putting the spring bar all the way in and then adjusting?

Currently it's all the way in with the easy link closed

Feels like circulation is being affected when in actuality I can push it up and down a bit

If you had the micro adjustment in the middle and it was too loose but too tight fully in you don’t really have many options left.

It’s only 3mm on the micro, easy link is 5mm.

I would move it back to the middle and see how you get on. Because there is literally no other option.

1 link out would be 10mm, easy link open would be 5mm and a micro would be down to 2mm so 1mm less than the too loose setting as you say with a micro setting in the middle.

But the downside is you have no adjustment.

On my PM Daytona’s I find slightly loose is a pain as the weight moves it around too much. So I go with tight but not too tight and use easy link on hot days

As I said, it took me a lot of fiddling to get it right but well worth it in the end. At least you've remembered the easylink... I completely forgot it had that when I was adjusting mine to begin with as I just wanted to wear it that's probably why it took me the better half of a day to get it spot on how I wanted.

This is on an Oyster on a Yacht-Master, but same idea. Undo the Easy link, so you can see the sliding mechanism. There are three detents on both sides of the interior of the clasp. You need to push inward on the spring bar on both sides, while also sliding the bracelet to the desired position. You should feel the spring bar go into the desired two detents. Mine is at the middle of the three.

In this case you need to sell the watch.
You are talking about 3mm.

OP you may just be overthinking this. It's the summer as well so your wrist will swell and shrink more often throughout the day.

If you tried the micro adjustments without any success then just leave the easy link open. Isn't a little loose better than a little tight....Out of all of mine for some reason I have that problem with my Milgauss, micro on the outer setting and I leave the easy link open. Wintertime its OK closed.

Is the clasp falling where it should on your wrist? This can make a big difference in comfort and micro sizing.

It’s a bit humid in New York, did your wrist expand? I’ve had it where it felt fine, but then my wrist expanded and it felt a bit snug.

I bought my half link from someone on a FB Rolex page. It’s from a six digit submariner. I paid $115
