Hi all,

I have a SD 4000 (16600, Z-serie) with box, papers cert that are bought 'new' from a graydealer and it is originally from Hong Kong, now the same dealer has a M-serie 16613 (Blusey) with all the plastic still on with box, cert and papers from the biggest AD i Stockholm, e.g very good for after sales etc...

He is willing to trade me the 16613 against the 16600 for about 2000 USD, what do you think?

My view is: I can always save up to a new 16600 later (it is as you know this is cheaper than the 16613) the price is good, and it is temting for me to have Swedish papers etc....

Swedish and chinese stamped rolex papers are exactly the same thing if the rolex is genuine...
I think +2000 usd is not too much especially if the TT blue sub is BNIB
However +1800 would sound much better to me because the SD prices are now raised
Also, the 16600 is now discontinued and i don't agree it will be that easy to buy one in the future.

That said i prefer the TT bluesy over the SD in terms of looks but that's just me

In your case I would say, keep the SD and save for a second hand bluesy

I know that the Swedish and chinese papers are the same, but when selling a watch in Sweden I feel that papers from this AD is somewhat security to many as the easily can go there to check, talk etc...

Also when saying 'I can always save up to a new 16600 later' i meant a new pre-used one and the preferrably a V-Serie. The SD prices has not become any higher here in Sweden from what I can see.

I absolutly love both watches but right now my economy only allows for one :-(

I am leaning towards the 16613 as I have had the SD for a year or so and it is always nice with a change :-) and I already have an Omega SMP in SS.

Ps the 16613 is BNIB DS

But I havent decided yet....

Maybe, But as I said I am planning on getting the SD again with Swedish papers and hopefully a V serial no.

It sounds like you have made a decision already. Personally I am not into S/G at all, and find the SD to be more unique, and would therefore keep it.

Why don't you drop the Breitling and the Omega, and get BOTH the 16613 and keep the 16600? ;-)

It's not going to be as easy as you think to save up for a Sea Dweller since they are discontinued.

If you are going to trade a watch that you will eventually just buy again, I would keep the SD and eventually buy the 16613. Although it is always nice to have a change I suppose...

Have to agree not much of a upgrade both same movement only difference a little bit of high priced gold.TT watches in reality don't hold there price in proportion, as well as most of the S.Steel Rolex.

I would guess there are a lot more TT Blue Subs out there and will be much easier to come by down the road. Late model SD with no holes are bound to be harder to replace, while I don't know the numbers produced, I just have not seen as many for sale.
