LV question
I've been haunting ad's for quite some time vacillating between an Explorer II, Sub LV, and Yachtmaster ss/plat. I'm now ready to pull the string on an LV, although the AD had a black, ss Daytona that was intriguing. I'm just not that enamored in it though. How much should I expect the AD to come down on a z-series LV? It has the green hologram which suggests they've had it for quite some time.

Realistically, you can probably get 10% off easily. Anything more will require some negotiating.

Push hard and bring cash. You will be surprised at how much an AD may be willing to discount a timepiece in these times.

Great choice, you will love the LV. You should be able to get 10-15% and if they really want to sell, 20%.

The LV is great. I wouldn't take the Z with less than 25% off the $6400 list. PM me on this if you are serious and want to save that kind of $.

Actually, I'm in North Carolina right now. I've never tried negotiating with an AD in Orlando, so I don't know how unyielding they are.
Another question that I have, deals with the fact that this particular LV is a z series. My understanding is that z's came out in 2006 when the price was approximately $4875-5525 for this model. Yet, they're now asking $6400. Does Rolex USA distribute via memorandum? |
