How long do discontinued parts remain available at Rolex?
i was wondering how long after a watch is discontinued can you get parts replaced with rolex.
i have an original batman and i would like to replace the bezel insert. of course i can have this done today no problem. but surely there will be a cut off point where rolex will no longer have that part. does that usually take months after discontinuing? years? decades? |

Since they make evening in house. I think once they retool for a replacement it marks the end of live for new inventory, it will last until is gone.

I think it's more like decades, but how many is the big question.
Rolex does not guarantee parts availability in perpetuity, though.

Like a good business would, Rolex will produce replacement parts for retired references as long as demand warrants.
In the case of replacement bezel inserts, they still make ones to fit 50 year old Subs. So I guess my answer is you’ll have parts for many, many years to come - but nobody can predict the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Officially, 30 years after discontinuation. In some cases and parts they're produced for longer.

Does Tudor follow the same policy? Probably a question I should PM to Bas, but hoping he can answer for the forum in general. Thanks!
