Third this year. Second this month. And this one was far from planned.

June I had sold off my 116618 submariner, just didn’t connect with it like I thought I would. Picked up a 216570 Explorer II white dial.

Earlier this month had an opportunity to pick up a new milgauss Z-blue, always been on my “list” and figured I should strike while it was available.

And just the other day picked up a 116234 Datejust from a friend who decided to sell it. I always figured when it came time to buy a DJ, I’d go 36mm, blue, fluted, and jubilee. I love the 36mm size. And after wearing this thing for a couple days, I truly think it’s a home run. Amazing watch.

Current state of the collection

I hope a black or green submariner. I initially had a wishlist of five watches. I have three of those five. The remaining two would be the subs.

No sir. Another midwestern state that starts with an M. But not Minnesota.

Something ceramic with a rotating bezel would be cool.

I regrettably let go of my 116710LN in the chase of the yellow gold submariner. I hope to replace it with a 116610LN black sub date if my AD ever decides to like me.

I really wish I knew why the forum rotates my pictures like that.

Let’s try these two.

Good luck on your search. I have the green sub and love it
