My Sub - 16610 - is currently in for a service and needs a new clasp.

I'm a big fan of the new style one on the GMTII - assume it on the new sub too.

Is there any reason why I couldn't have that fitted to mine?

The latest clasps will fit without issue, except for some polished side links..

The question, however, is will Rolex change it to a new one for you.......?

Your right on track with my thought here. I am considering the same thing except I was thinking about waiting for the new SS sub to come in out in 2010 so I could have the one that may be unpolished unlike the GMT one. I hear people say all sorts of things on this issue. One fella told me that Rolex would want my old one back??? All I know is money talks so if you are willing to pay for the new one. Then why would they not sell it to you? I am guessing we would have to pay around anywhere from 600 to 1000 for the clasp seeing how Rolex wants 82 for an extra link in my air-king.

You're probably looking in the region of £500 for the clasp and comfort link.

I have a new GMTII-C clasp + Easylink available. It has a polished middle section.
