People look at ya kind of funny....

When you work graveyard shift and pick up some beer on the way home from work.

I decided to stop and get a few things at the store on the way home, including some beer. The lady at the checkout stand looked at the beer and gave me a raised eyebrow as she was ringing it up. Pretty funny really.

In my area it’s all normal. And the beer is a chaser for the 40 pounder.

In my experience, drunks don’t drink good beer.

Just sat down for brunch and my wife said after my order, “a little early for beer eh?”

It’s never too early.

When she asks if you want it in a bag, just tell her no, you'll drink it on the way home.

All jokes aside, people will give you snarky responses or looks when you do anything that they believe is wrong without knowing you or your reasoning. Everyone is quick to judge off appearance these days, whether it’s on a forum like this or at the grocery store. On a related note, How come mimosas are allowed at brunch if beer isn’t?

Should see the dispensaries here when they open. Lines everyday for people to get some weed lol
I always thought alcohol was a funny one though. Most jobs it’s acceptable to have a drink at lunch, but a drink before work is unacceptable.
Government workers with liquor in their desks, yet most other jobs you’d be terminated for the same thing.
Wine drinkers who some how think every other form of alcohol is unhealthy.
So many weird things surrounding the substance.

Back in my drinking days, I used to stop by the Time Saver in New Orleans on my way home from my graveyard shift and pick up a tall-boy and smoked sausage on a hot dog bun with hot mustard.

I used to get some funny looks, too.

Unless you are busy drinking it while paying for it, I don’t see why a clerk would look twice?

Not here in buffalo lol that’s par for the course

I bought beer today at 11 am. My current schedule only permits free time out of the house in the mornings lol
