Spb149

This watch looks good but is it worth $600 above retail? I like the 40.5mm size, smaller than the latest rolex sub 😂

You can always offer less and see if it flies.

Not worth it. Search the classifieds on this forum and you’ll find a brand new one for less.

They made over five thousand of these so they’re not rare at all. Prices will eventually come down.

It’s a great watch. The size is really nice. Very good build quality and I’ve had very good results with the movement. If you are open to other color schemes, you can get the watch basically at list...

I wanted the blue dial version too, but pulled the trigger on the sort of retro brown sunburst rose good tone hand / indices version... pretty pleased!! But if you must have the blue... pull the trigger in the secondary!!! At least it’s only $2k and not x10 that!!

Sure, if it is what you want and you can not source elsewhere for less.

I like mine a lot. It’s a solid watch for $1,350. They can still be found for that price.

Why does someone have to be a sucker for buying a watch? Not the price I would have paid but different people have different outlooks and financial means.

You’re right. It does sound a bit critical. My point is that the buyer of that watch was either impatient, uninformed or both.

I agree that the price was quite high. Playing the devils advocate, perhaps The limited edition number was significant to the buyer.

Good luck! I love mine. I was going to to strap on my 16750 today but I’m finding it hard to remove 149, the dial is mesmerizing.

It’s something to look forward to. The proportions on this really sing to me. Pics when it arrives!
