Wow! GMT II C TT
Met a friend and his VERY affluent friend was there as well. He noticed my pres and said oh nice watch. I looked at his wrist and he had aTT GMT C. Wow that is nice!! I very rarely see Rolex's in the wild and I tried it on. Aside from my skinny wrists, that watch is a beast! The contrast with the bezel, green hand and gold/steel, that is damned beautiful!! I couldn't pull it off, but it's so much different seeing/trying on a watch in person as opposed to pics, obviously..maybe if I bulk up my wrists I could pull it off...

Gotta love the new GMT's, they do look fantastic.
Great story.

I will probably be getting one soon,
having priced them out - you can get one used for only slightly more then a SS new. No question, with the prices so close, I will be going with the TT over SS. and everyone is right - pictures of the watch do not do it justice. Never considered buying one until I tired on it at the AD - SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!! |

I was dead set on the all gold version but I bought a new car this year so that went out the window. BUT when I compared the TT to the SS model I fell for the TT. Stylish.
It is a bit more hefty than my 16750 but I like it and it is spot on with now -1 sec to +1 sec PER WEEK!

I have never seen one in the wild, only at my AD, and I love them.
