The bezel is clearly not from Rolex.

How is it that I read the post and can guess that it’s OP’s first post?

Reference number is right on the booklet.

Looks legit to me, but Consider the source....LOL That is an engine turned bezel. The serial number on papers matches the serial number tag. Cyclops looks good. Booklets and box are period correct and have correct model number. If on eBay, they guarantee authenticity. Nothing in that pic screams fake to me.

It looks legit to me, and asking prices are US$5-6k, so the price is right. I'd ask for a photo of the movement (caseback removed).

I agree. None of this is real. It’s all a simulation. Possibly a simulation created in a simulation.

Seriously though, unless you absolutely love this asthetic, I would save up a little longer and get a more modern Rolex. A used Explorer, OP 39, or modern air king are very modern, versatile, and durable every day watches. I think you will have less regrets to get something super awesome in the 4-6k range than to spend nearly 3k on this watch but not really scratched the itch or made yourself happy.

I think 4-6 is low for and Explorer or a current Air King.

for $2750 you can dip your toes into the Rolex world and likely make a few bucks if you decide you want something else. seems like a no brainer to me. price is right and that watch is as original as they come.

At 2750, I would probably jump on that. At 2500, near certain. Cool funky DJ w Box and Papers...pretty cool to me.

Very annoying and frustrating when people with no knowledge feel the need to instantly comment and claim fake

I have that reference, exactly the same, including the bracelet. Sure wish I had the full set...

Price is right and as long as the seller can be vetted, it's a no brainer. Buy it.
