Rolex 1625 Buckley
I have recently found a 1625 Thunderbird for sale with a Buckley Dial. I have never seen one with a Buckley dial before and was wondering if anyone knew if they came with these dials or if it is a frankenwatch. It is dated at 1968 which would put in the same time period for Buckleys.

The 1625 dial is unique to that model. It’s slightly smaller than 160x series. In my opinion not real, either re-dial or fake.

Interesting. I love the look of the Buckley. The best way I know to tell a fake Buckley (if you don’t have it in-hand) is to get micro shots of the Roman numerals. If there’s any bleeding, it’s a no go.

I would guess that it's a shaved down 160x-series datejust dial.
