Searching for a birth year sub
Hi guys,
I had posted earlier about a birth year sub and a lot of people chimed in. Really grateful for that as I'm completely new to the used Rolex market. I'm happy that I passed on that watch - it was over polished and not great condition. I've flicked through this forum and am astounded as to how subtle and inconsistent details are so easily flagged re: off looking fonts, pearl dot being too big.... I still can't see it without someone pointing it out. I've been lucky to stumble across another birth year sub (1992) and would appreciate your thoughts/feedback once again |

Looks fine in my opinion.
The only thing I would ask the seller is if the hands are service replacement as they look white compared to the creamy dial markers and pearl. |

Thank you!
I drove to the store and had a look at it. The manager said it had just come in but was in no way sellable condition.... the bezel was stuck down, bracelet was very stretched and the locking clasp fell off when I took the watch off.... so he's sending it back for a service/repair. So the search continues |

Might want to give this dealer in London a call. Vintage Watch company at Burlington Arcade. They advertise to sell watches by birth year.
Always buy from reputable dealers like in TRF or see in person. |
