Rolex - On Weekend?

Hey all.

Was thinking to myself: "my explorer I is my only Rolex and therefore, the highlight of my collection." and then decided that I will put my Rolex on weekends and special occasions and for the every day, I'll use my Omega/Seiko/Orient..., in addition, I care much for that watch, and wouldn't like to make it worn out for use (not that I am affraid of wearing it, but knowing that if i'll wear it only on weekends and special events i'll be able to keep it clean and in better condition for a longer period of time).
Am I thinking right? or should I make it my everyday watch?

Thoughts welcome!
Yours sincerely,

Well....

................

....If you decided that the Explorer was to be your everyday watch, you might not ever wear any of the others in your box...........

My Sub No date is my only Rolex. I haven't had it that long and it is quickly becoming the only watch I want to wear. I also thought that my Sub would just be put into rotation with my Omegas and such......but I just dont want to take it off. I'm not a collector, I'm a wearer. So if I end up only wanting to wear my Sub all the time, the others will have to go.

I say wear it all the time! Don`t worry about the scratches, that`s what makes it yours and not just another one off the shelf!
It clearly makes you happy wearing it, so why not be happy everyday?

Life is far too short to worry about things like this.

If the watch makes you happy, wear it!

if your wanting to wear your other watches too, Wear them! but, don't let your Rolex sit, put away for those special occasions then you fall outta love with it and poof your selling it trying to get back some of your money and by this time you have replaced each of your daily watches twice .. just joking ... but, I'm blue collar wear ss dj as my daily, then sometimes my 5513.. haven't had to replace either yet! ;oP hehe if you like the watch wear it, period they are built to take the punishment!

You have several great watches. Wear them in a rotation and enjoy them all, but don't worry about "hurting" your explorer...it's a reference that has laughed off the worst any of us can dish out.

Wear whatever makes you happy. I just discovered that the Daytona is a great snorkeling watch. And I guess you realize that I don't like hotel safes!
