Grey vs Blue 15450st
Hi guys,
went to AP House in London recently (beautiful store) to try on some APs for size, unfortunately and expectedly they didn't have the 15450st in anything but a jewelled gold number. It confirmed the best fit for me (6.25" wrist) but made it no easier for me to select a colour. I usually go for black dials on sports watches but it's not possible with this model, so I'm trying to decide between the blue and grey. I feel like the blue has a more vibrant colour which changes with lighting, and contrasts to the lettering on the dial more. However, I usually find a grey dial fits with most outfits better, being a more neutral colour. I would say this would be for a mixture of use, both casual and formal occasions for now. Any opinions on the most 'versatile' dial version, or any grey dial owners wishing to sing it's praises? |

Normally I like blue or black dials but for the Royal Oak I prefer grey (or silver where available). The Genta design is very mechanical/industrial and I believe a grey dial fits it best.

I saw all colors in person before, they all look gorgeous.
Blue is always the most popular dial, you will be surprised that how gorgeous the white/silver dial is when you see person.
