Casio Duro on Miltat Super J Bracelet
Recently purchased a Miltat Super J bracelet to put on my Casio Duro MDV106 and I’m honestly shocked by the quality of the bracelet and clasp since it was about $60. It was packaged with more plastic around it than watch straps I’ve paid 5 times as much for so I was impressed from the beginning.
The Super J is obviously a “jubilee” design and it’s extremely comfortable. It features solid end links and links, heavy duty spring bars, full length screws with an adhesive already applied, and a great secure clasp. It’s made specifically for Seiko but actually fits the Duro as long as you gently curve the spring bars. The Casio comes with a great rubber strap and I’ve swapped out leather bands and NATO straps to upgrade the look over the years. But this Super J bracelet really makes it feel complete. The Duro goes for less than $50 so for just over $100 you can get a legitimate dive watch that looks amazing and rivals much more expensive brands. |
