Bracelet Value
Does adding a new bracelet to an older watch raise the value at all?

I guess it could?
It depends on the potential buyer Some might see it as an upgrade and pay extra for it, some might not care for it, some might see it as you messing with the originality of the watch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Man, I wish Rolex didn't charge an arm and leg for the bracelets or would repair during a service. |

Depends on the watch, but for a non-collectable older watch, absolutely. I have a YG DD with a stretched president bracelet...and it would instantly be a better watch, if it had a new/restored bracelet.
I echo your sentiment...I wish they offered repair service for bracelets, but then they would miss out on the $$$ for new ones. A new president bracelet is worth the same as my entire DD lol |

Send it to Michael Young at Classic Watch Repair in Hong Kong. They refurbished a 35 year old Day Date bracelet that was stretched and worn really badly for me. It came back beyond minty fresh and new. Absolutely blown away at how good it turned out. www.classicwatchrepair.com
