New Sub

Hi, I am in Scotland UK. I have a 1995 36mm Explorer which I bought on sale from Chronext about 10 months ago. I forgot I had put my name on list at AD and got a voicemail about three weeks ago about a sub date they had just got in stock, called them back and had missed it by five minutes. They said might get another in three months or so. So today they called asking if I was interested in an airking which I had enquired about also over a year ago. Said I had told them I was no longer looking for airking but that someone had called me about a sub I just missed a few weeks ago...they hesitated a bit then said if I could pay deposit that they had a black sub date which would be arriving within seven days. Paid them and should get it next week.
Are subs etc now becoming easier to get from AD and will this hurt future values.
Thanks
John

You won't lose money on a Submariner or pretty much any steel sports Rolex at this point. The important thing though is get the watch if that is the one you want.
