Trading up for a Ceramic Skeleton

Would you trade these 2 pieces + 110k for the Ceramic Perpetual Skeleton?
I find myself with this very tempting but difficult decision..
Id be trading in my yellow gold perpetual skeleton and a new rose gold blue dial chrono + the cash for it..
Would love to hear (read) your thoughts!

Seems like you are giving up quite a lot for just that one watch, why not use the 110k and get the ceramic calendar non Skeltonized. Don’t get me wrong the piece you are looking to snag is amazing but just seems like a lot. Just my opinion though

Never... from ownership point of view, not the overhyped new trends and values, I will not give just that beautiful 39 gold perpetual for the ceramic one... and adding to this gold chrono and 110k is pure madness....

Actually that is an option, it would be a bit more than 110, but its something I've definitely considered.. Im just worried the regular black ceramic may be a little monotonous and dull. Never handled one in the flesh tbh I've only had the tourbillon version in my hand.
Initially the cash was going to go for a 15407ST.

No way!!!!

The ceramic is way overhyped. Feels cheap on the wrist compared to SS or PM. Stick to what you have.

Add a ceramic diver as you don’t have an offshore.

Wouldn’t do that trade personally

That YG perpetual calendar is fantastic. As much or more character vs the ceramic, IMO. Would not do that trade.

This plus +1. Or if you want a skeleton dial, go for the below, keep your two watches and spend less than 110k while keeping your perpetual.

if you have to have a skeleton perpetual, save the money and go for the VC

Too high a price to pay in my opinion.

Seems most of the comments here are in agreement, yet the voting says different. A lot of silent ‘yes’ members. Interested to know why they are a yes.

I think trading those two amazing watches + the cash is too much. I don’t agree that the ceramic feels cheap however, the ceramic has an amazing look and if it isn’t abused will always look new.

I've just bought a skeleton ceramic watch as well, but IMO the calendar really isn't very legible on this model. Not my favourite skeleton watch, so I'd say don't do it

The sum of one is not greater than the two and cash you would have to give up.

I would do it, but I’m different in that I have EXTRA LOVE for the skeleton. So to me, it’s worth it.

I second going with the ceramic perpetual and not the skeleton. Keep what you have. Or sell the rose gold chrono to help pay the difference. Your perpetual calendar is too unique.

I would get rid of those gold watches and go for the ceramic perpetual, perhaps not necessarily for the skeleton version.

No, would keep what you have and use the cash for something else. As many mentioned, the ceramic perpetual is a great option

Honestly i find the 26579’s dial too monotonous. This is obviously a winner but I’m betting wont be too far off the ceramic perpetual skeleton!

It would be tough to let go of the YG but the numbers are right.
If you can swing it keep the YG, but I would do the trade even if you couldn’t . The 26585CE is worth subtracting for.

Full disclosure these time pieces are way out of my price league

That said, I’ve never really got ceramic material in watches. It just doesn’t appeal to me in the least YMMV
