Sad to see. Saw him recently at a country awards show playing alongside Jimmie Allen. That was like two weeks ago. Crazy.

His version of Kaw Liga was my favorite. Among all the other amazing songs. RIP.

Mr. Pride had a rich voice, great stage presence.
He will be missed, may he rest in peace. The man was a ground breaker with much talent. |

May he rest in peace. I had the fortune of meeting him about 20 years ago when I was a kid. He seemed like a pretty good person.

In the recent, 16 hour, PBS documentary on Country Music, Mr. Pride was given a good deal of attention. Found his story to be quite compelling. He came across as a genuinely nice and humble man, as well.
RIP
