The Portugieser Chronograph is one of IWC Schaffhausen’s most iconic models with a history dating back to 1939. It is undoubtedly one of the best looking Chronograph watches just got much better with this newly released 2020 version.

How is it one of the best looking Chronograph watches? Well, the watch hasn’t changed in terms of the design since release of the Portugese Chronograph Ref.3714 back in 1998. This means the exact design that sold hot for over 20 years still looks like it was designed today which makes it a timeless classic. The proportions make it perfectly sized for most wrists at 41mm all while the thin bezel gives it a larger look. Previously, the IWC Portugese housed an ETA movement with a simple closed case back, and today IWC perfected it with a beautifully finished in-house movement, the 69355 calibre, with a sapphire exhibition case back. The current movement is a work of art in itself with a complex vertical clutch column wheel Chronograph, efficient winding system based on the ever famous Pellaton winding mechanism, entirely built and designed by IWC. Another standout feature on this model is the stunning sunburst blue dial that captures every bit a light and gives you a plethora of various shades of blue. This watch is handsomely paired with a black alligator leather strap with a dual deployant clasp system.

CONDITION
This watch is brand new, direct from an authorized dealer. Still has the protective plastics on.
