How many watches do you take on vacation?

How many watches do you guys take with you when going on an extended trip (say 3 months)?

I have 4 watches I enjoy wearing - Thinking of taking 2 with me.

Depends on where I’m going, but usually One. Don’t like to worry about the extra one being lost or stolen

Around 2-3 if I’m travelling for over a week. Anything less than a week then I’ll take 2 at most, including the one on my wrist.

Yeah really depends on the value of the watches and where I am staying (has safe etc). It’s common for me to bring 2-3 on a 10 day trip

I read on here and elsewhere quite often that people take multiple watches on holiday, whereas I only ever take 1. Mainly for security purposes as I wouldn’t want to leave an expensive watch in a hotel room, even in a safe.

The hardest part is deciding on the watch! A few days or a week then it’s easy. Longer then it’s not. Last year we had over 5 weeks travelling Australia, NZ and Singapore- went with a skydweller in the end which was the right choice.

It depends on where I am going and what I will be doing there. Typically anywhere from 2-5.

One, always on the wrist. If international travel, the Sky Dweller. If trip is quite extended, or with numerous social functions, I might bring a gold watch on a strap for the evening.

Use to move around with two or three, but now only ever one, and it is never taken off the wrist.
It’s easier, safer, and far less concerning.
Maybe I’m just getting older?!

A lot depends on the country as well. I always bring a GMT and then usually at least one other watch.

I’ve been doing this with my more recent trips. I’ll agonize a bit beforehand but once I’ve narrowed it down to one, I don’t have to think about it when I’m on vacation.

For everyone who take more than one do the others go in a carry on? Checked luggage? Do you use a watch roll?

None, only with an Apple Watch on my wrist when traveling. Both for the smart watch’s practical usage and to avoid losing the luxury watch or it being stolen.
