Harder to get AP’s?

As someone fairly new to AP I’m curious as to what models, if any, are hard to get pieces? I know with Rolex that historically it was the steel Daytona (now it’s most SS professionals) and PP it’s the steel Nautilus or Aquanauts plus some of the higher end pieces.

I know that the blue 15500 is harder to get than the others (as I’ve tried), but didn’t know what else. I’m not looking for any as my next watch will probably be gold (that’s another question I may well ask), as I said it’s curiosity.

Royal oaks are pretty hard for most models.

Easier to get models will be the Offshore lines.

Easiest models to get will probably be the code 1159 line and everything else. But of course there are some models in these lines that are still pretty exclusive

Easy to get the ROC 26315 line

Women’s watches should also be easier

All men’s size steel and high end RO are hard to get. Some Offshores hard.

Generally only Codes and women size watches are available as walk ins.

Can you please explain further on this? Curious on what you are seeing and mean specifically beyond the normal look like you are a serious luxury brand customer.

+1

Usually, the ones that most don't want and/or can be had at a significant discount on the secondary.
