Mens Rolex TUDOR Military Hand Wind OYSTER Watch 1950's

Would the Rolex name originally be on the dial?

The watch is in decent shape. The watch winds fully and runs well. The dial and hands look refinished, with the "Rolex Oyster Chester" name probably added at that point.

The oil in the movement looks dry and the watch may need to be serviced if being worn consistantly.

i maybe be wrong, but hasn't been said, that there was never made a rolex signed dial on a tudor case or dial. the case back, crown appear to be fine for a tudor type. anyway's didn't rolex anyways have a cornet on there dial from mid-century forward?
