Daytona oysterflex size comparison
For those of you that have both an Oysterflex Daytona and a SS 116500, I'm curious to know your thoughts on their relative size on the wrist. With its slightly larger case and bracelet "fins", does the oysterflex wear closer to an 116500 or an 116610? I much prefer the smaller 116500 on my 6.5 inch wrist. Please let me know your thoughts, both on the OF's slightly increased case size and bulkier bracelet.
These are my two points of comparison.... |

I think you will find that the OF will wear ever so slightly larger than the SS 116500. Lug-lug for the OF is 47.5mm, but there is no rigid end link flare with the OF strap while the 116500 which has a lug-lug of 46.5mm but has that rigid end link. This seems to balance out the size differences between the two. Looks, size wise may be a bit (and I mean slightly) larger with the OF, but the fit is fairly similar.
Submariner will wear noticeably larger due to the 48mm lug-lug and maxicase. Based on your wrist, I think the OF Daytona will fit your wrist perfectly. |

It actually wears somewhere in between.
