Rolex Price Increases Impending Jan/Feb 2021

Seems there is building confidence that a price increase of 6-10% is coming in late January. I’ve seen a number of articles and YouTube videos claiming some sort of evidence / early notice.

Does anyone know if Rolex tends to increase on a particular day of the week? Does it go into effect immediately? I assume once the website shows the new prices then all ADs would also be in-line.

Anyone else have info on this happening in Jan/Feb?

PM moderator Padi. He is always tracking the latest price increases and can probably give you the low down.

I suggest OP search 'price Increase' and wade through all the other threads for the answers to the questions.

Updated version above. This one is just as accurate and credible as the version you posted.

I hope for a 30% increase across the board to cut out the greedy grays/flippers. People are paying higher prices and taking risks in the gray market anyways, so Rolex is just leaving money on the table. I think most people would rather pay more to buy directly from an AD, than the current situation.

I doubt a price increase will have any bearing on the grey market. It seems there is no cap as to what people are willing to pay for a stainless watch, so a grey will still get their hands on them first, cases will remain empty, and those who want will continue to pay more. The cycle won't change, only the pricing.

Myself never believe the things you hear on the likes of Youtube most are nothing more than clickbait. But one thing is for sure some time in the future there will be a price rise but only Rolex knows when. Until then take my advice stay away from Youtube and so called social media wait for 100% factual information.

It must be true then.

Don't bother asking your local AD.

Which will increase the grey price by a further 30%.

AP did again recently, I would be surprised if Rolex doesn’t follow.

All these price speculation posts will be closed in future, without 100% factual verified information.
