Is anyone, like me, more interested in Tudor than Rolex today?

I am looking forward to seeing what they do this year. Because they only released 1 watch last year I have a feeling this year will be a big one. Perhaps another GMT but not blackbay.

Love the accessible price point and value of the brand. The watches are also made very well.

Don't get me wrong I am a Rolex fan of course.

In before, all they do is the blackbay posts and gmt movement issues.

I love my BB58! One of my very favorite timepieces. It should be interesting to see what they come up with for us this year.

Me! Love my Rolex but more interested in Tudor offerings every year. They are more creative than big brother and have varied designs. They make dependable watches and incorporate innovative designs and mechanisms. Looking forward to W&W this year

A lot of people like Tudor more. Rolex has a traditional look while Tudor tends to be more “bold”

I really am going through a Tudor phase with my watches. I’ve not worn anything but my black bay s&g for the last few months as I’m really enjoying it. Been wearing it on the leather strap but just swapped it for the Nato. Wasn’t sure at first but think the Nato is growing on me. The quality of the watches is excellent, most are fairly attainable, and they certainly feel less ‘look at me’. That’s not a criticism of the Rolex i own, I’m just enjoying the understated look and feel the tudor brings. Plus I’m enjoying the warmth the hints of gold bring at the moment.

I am also looking forward to seeing what Tudor do this year. I am a big fan of Tudor but I don't think they always get it right. I do like their higher risk approach though. Here are a few of mine.

With the exception of the BB58, I find many other Tudor models seem have cases with unusually large thickness.

Tudor are killing it at present, I've been so lucky recently and been able to source both a BB58 blue before Christmas and a new Sub no date 124060 shortly after and I can say they are both fantastic. The little Tudor more than holds its own against its bigger brother, in fact they complement each other perfectly!

I think Tudor was exciting until they just started making 1,000 variants of the BB. There isn't much else in their lineup that is interesting to me.

I became very interested in Tudor when on a whim, my wife and I were at a holiday event at the ADs in 2019 (the good old days) and bought an S&G Chrono on Bund. This is a whole lot of watch for the money and the blue dial and Bezel Tudor posted by the OP is extremely beautiful...so really great watches imo...

Yes, I have absolutely no interest in any of the 6 digit models. Almost all, with the exception of the explore range are larger and shinier for no functional purpose. Tudor is what Rolex used to be, great no nonsense watches, extremely well made watches that can take a pounding at a better price point with the upshot of less hype than Rolex. No ceramics, no shine, function first, form second.

They made the one with the sword hands. It was the black bay 1.

I have no interest in Tudor at all, bought a BB58 last year as I think I got influenced by this forum, sold it as it meant nothing to me at all, I think Tudor should have their own forum section to be honest and shouldn’t come under Rolex general discussion at all

I am a huge Tudor fan and enjoy the watches at least as much as my Rolex watches. The fit and finish is great and the timing is great. I am looking forward to the new releases this year and hope they do a green Pelagos.
