Zenith Chronomaster Sport

I recently purchased a Zenith Chronomaster Sport w a steel bracelet. I purchased the watch online directly from Zenith. The watch bracelet arrived too large and the quick adjustment on the clasp didn't do enough. I need to remove a link.

How do I remove a link from a Zenith Chronomaster Sport bracelet? The links look to be attached with screws but when you try to unscrew them nothing happens. They spin and spin but never come out or move up or down.

I couldn't find anything online - help appreciated. Thanks

I haven’t seen the bracelet in person yet, but my best guess is you have to have a screwdriver on each side to keep it from spinning. Good luck. Mine will be here in a couple of days. Post some pics

Yes the bracelet uses double screws so you need to secure one side with a driver and unscrew the opposite. Absolute nightmare tbh!

I have recently resized a new tag Heuer Monaco bracelet. It has screws on both sides. Just have to hold one screwdriver on one hand and use the other hand to unscrew the second one. It’s hard but not impossible.....

I suppose I’ll have to go to my local Zenith dealer. I’ll be honest, after purchasing the watch online directly from Zenith I feel guilty going to the local dealer asking for sizing help. Sadly, I called that dealer first and they weren’t able to get me the watch until possibly March.

I’d send pics If I knew how but for this watch there are so many already online, what’s the point?

I never figured it out and ended up going to my local Zenith dealer. They were extremely kind and resized the watch perfectly. No charge and zero hard time for having purchased online.

Thank you for this thread. I too just received my Chrono Sport (freaking awesome btw!) and I'm so excited to wear it. They must have some sort of locklite on the bars because even with two screwdrivers, I could not generate enough torque to loosen them. I'll have to go find a Zenith dealer. Thanks again.

Heating the bracelet with a hairdryer or hot water did the trick here to get the locktite loose.

Just received mine today. Has to be THE WORST bracelet screws in the history of bracelet screws. The biggest pain in the ass to remove and put back in. Took me well over an hour to do.

This is the tool you need. Took this to a jeweler and this is what they used. It's a cheap alternative to the $95 tool shown in the youtube video above.
