GMT 1675 Gilt dial
Hi all, inspired by a recent tread I'm asking info regarding my 1675.
I purchased this watch long time ago when I had no idea about all the details of Vintage (I call it pre-Forum :) Is a 1675 serial 523.x with the Pointed Crown Guard with a replacement dial. Can you tell me what kind of dial is it? My other question is: should originally have a chapter ring gilt dial or just a gilt dial? I'm confused because I thought that PCG only came with chapter ring and that the regular gilt dial came in later, like the one I have on my other 1675 from 1966 with regular crown guard. Thank you to whom can give me an opinion. Here the PCG End here the one with Gilt dial: |

Others will probably know with certainty, but I have seen later PCG 1675s (e.g. 1963) with tritium gilt dials. My guess is that yours would probably have been a SWISS-only chapter ring.

Swiss only for sure.
I see a 4th Q of 1960 caseback on yours. This is a 2nd Q of 61 |
