Video close-up of AP 15500

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUOA-l5Y0SY&t=686s

I generally like his videos yet saw this one on 15500. So out of curiosity, I looked at my 15500 blue dial under a loupe but could not spot the type of imperfections cited in this video. It may be more microscopic than what I could see or vary piece to piece? In the end, this does not diminish my appreciation for this piece.

The hands on his example are on par with every Rolex I've louped.

His camerawork is great but I can't get over the VC overseas video where he didn't bother to clean the dry skin flakes off the bezel scallops before recording macro video.

The video is great (check also his comparison between 15202 and 15500) but I immediately use a magnifier to check the hands of my blue 15500st.

Mine does not have the dust or poor finishing as the one he was inspecting

The video is beautiful (check his review of 15202 and 15500 as well).

I immediately took a loupe to check the hands on my blue 15500 and couldn't spot those imperfections.

i am curious if those imperfections in his timepiece were a result of service center visit; not one which is coming directly from the factory.

Nice video, love the movement and display case back on this new 15500 ref, although prefer the dial of my 15400, the display case back on the 15400 is pretty small in comparison.

I've looked at my 15500 with a 10X loupe and couldn't any obvious imperfections like in the vid. Albeit this guy seems to have much more powerful lens for viewing and super clear macros, I'm sure it would pickup imperfections in any brand!

I tried to take a few macro shots (the dust is coming from the loupe, couldn't get rid of it)

Awesome shots. Which lens did you use for these?

Wow even for those shots on the ROO? Wish my iPhone can do that.

Hands don’t look great at all - certainly not the expected AP standard.

Probably something they would rectify on a new watch too.
