Any men here wear 37mm?
I have had my eye on an open worked for a while. As the prices keep going up im now considering the 37mm. Personally the smallest watch I have ever owned was 39mm...Being in Canada I don't really have much around me to try on or compare. Some pics would be amazing on the wrist.

i love my 15450, absolutely perfect for smaller wrists. only issue i see with the 37mm open worked is that it’s only available in gold, frosted gold, or gold with diamonds, none of which i would wear. plus, not a fan of the logo on the glass. i think the 15407 is just way better in every way. unfortunately it’s too big for me.
here’s mine on the wrist: |

wow im glad I asked here. that logo on the glass definitely is a bit funky! The size does look great on you. Im by now means a heavy set guy either. I wonder how the logo on the glass would age. Im not opposed to gold at all though. I need some gold in the lineup

thanks, i also think it’s a great size for me. have also tried the 38mm chrono and it’s just as good, i couldn’t tell the size difference. (for reference my wrist is ~15.8cm/6.25”) yea i wouldn’t be totally opposed to the white gold, but that’s only available as frosted gold which i don’t like. maybe the rose gold? but that’s a bit flashy for me i think. for the logo on glass i haven’t seen it in person, so don’t take my word for it, but i’m sure it’s a non issue from a durability standpoint they must’ve considered that. i’m guessing it is under the glass, not on top. |

my wrist is about the same as yours. I wear a perpetual calendar royal oak as my daily. at 41mm is doesn't feel big. But at the same time I don't see myself wearing the openworked often. More for special occasions where something a bit smaller may also be appropriate. My main thing was just to not have it looking like a ladies watch. But in my opinion it looks great. I may just pull the trigger...from a value standpoint its a no brainer. Its basically half the price of the 41mm

oh yea that’s definitely not an issue, it’s just a smaller size of the same watch, not a woman’s watch. this is what the 15400 looks like on me, a little too big i think |

I wear btw 34 to 39 because these sizes in addition to bezel and lug width tend to be proportional to my wrist and personal preferences.

I have a 16cm wrist. For context the APRO is a 36mm, the GS is 40mm and fits quite similar to a sub, and the Panerai is a 44mm Luminor.
The size and fit is exactly the same as the 15450. If the 15500/15400 are too big for you then the 15407 will be as well but if you like 41mm RO then the 15467 is probably a second choice for you. It isn't a watch I wear often as it's extremely flashy and is actually quite terrible for reading the time, but no one buys an openworked AP for any practical purpose. |

Looks like you have a pretty flat wrist and can pull of a 41mm RO well. It can be nice to have a variety of RO sizes for different situations or moods. But if the 15407 is your first choice don’t settle on the 15467 just because it’s cheaper - it’s still a crazy expensive watch. IMO settling for a watch always leads to regrets

Hm. The 41mm looks good, which means the 37mm might look a bit small (and, unlike some, I don't think 37mm is a "ladies size"). I wouldn't buy it mail order w/o trying a gold 15450 or 15467 first.
In any case, prices for the 15467 are on the rise like everything else, so if you go through with your plan you might want to do it soon, or just go for the 15407. |

Here I'm wearing the 15450. I have about 17cm wrist 6.65 inches. I like the slightly dressier look. I can pull off the 41mm RO too, but it starts to be in the limit. 39mm is the perfect size.

I used to think that 37mm was too small for my 6.6" wrist, so I went for 41mm and I still love it very much.
Lately I have acquired 36mm 14790SA vintage look and I love it so much, it looks more classic. I think smaller size looks more classic and bigger size looks more sporty.

You definitely can pull it off if the watch is marketed as a man's watch in my opinion. Brands (not just in horology) are trying their best to make everything unisex in order to sell more and hit 2 birds with one stone, but i think it's plain wrong.

Watches have no gender to me. Rolex put diamonds on 40mm bezel and many men wear them. Some AP has diamonds on bezel and called lady watch, I don't know why.
Wear whatever you like, who cares! I bought 15451st for my sister, she didn't wear it much, she think it was too big for her wrist, I took over and love it too.

I have small wrists and wear a Tudor Submariner 75090 (black face/bezel). It is 36MM and fits well.
Love these AP examples.

I would offer there is a distinction between a 37mm dress watch vs a sports watch.
My patek 3940 is 37mm dresswatch and I find it the perfect size. If it were a sports watch I would prefer 39 or 40.
