16710 and 126710 BLRO - can they co-exist?
My first ever Rolex, a 16710 P Serial from 2000 is a keeper. I find myself really wanting the new 126710 Pepsi as well. Anyone have both? Can’t decide if this is a silly idea or not.

Why not? I wouldn’t but it’s your collection. After I picked up my BLRO from my AD three years ago I decided to sell my 16710 Pepsi. Too many other watches I was interested in to keep two Pepsi’s but that’s just me.

buy they both and keep them if you can. some people had to sell one to buy another one... Life is too short to decide and make heart breaking decisions...

Yes, just picked up the BLNR. Two different pieces - size, bezel, bracelet. Both are keepers!!

Sure. Put on a different insert if it helps.

Just guessing, but if he's in Las Vegas he may want to know what time it is two hours east without having to think about it. Alignment doesn't mean the bezel triangle has to be at 12 o'clock.

This crossed my mind, but both times are set to the stock 10:10 that Rolex uses for photoshoots (yet the bezels are not).

Yes. A different color insert on the 16710 is nice, though, as was mentioned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My GMT hand is usually set to GMT +0 so I can rapidly move the bezel to tell the time where I need. The bezel is usually set to GMT -8 for my time zone. If you rotate the bezel back so the triangle is at 12 (factory position), the GMT hand will show GMT +0. The regular hands are just local time. Now for this specific picture, I just moved the GMT hand out of the way so the hands did not overlap. I also forgot to reset the bezels back to factory position |

I have Both & great watches and uniquely different enough to keep both IMO
I hardly wear the 16710 anymore though but don’t plan on letting it go! |

It all depends on you. I don’t think it’s silly, but I do get your reservation. I ended up picking up a faded black to grayish/blue insert to mix it up! They’re very different watches now.
