Your 5 watch collection

So as I’m on my journey to complete my collection, which will evolve over time below is what I’m aiming for and why

Dress - Tank Solo XL and Datejust II silver dial, either swap tank for RG model or both for DD40 Gold with white dial (in the future after sub and exp II acquired.
Chrono - Tag Heuer Monaco (Heuer 02) a stunning piece
Field/GMT - nothing yet - Rolex Explorer II Polar (waiting for the “call”)
Diver - Tag Heuer Aquaracer Day Date Chrono (On the “list” for a Sub 41)
Sports - Apple Watch

I’ve enjoyed my modest collection over the years and each piece tells its own story. I’m quite reasonable with my choices and don’t really like to replicate styles and have enough variation to style with my clothes. Not a huge fan of black dials so the sub would be the only piece.
Not likely to get called for a Daytona as a chrono, find it too small so not really a fan

Interesting to see how others’ collections are evolving

What I have in mind right now is as follows:

214270 (own)
114060 (own)
Aqua Terra 38mm in blue (hopefully my next one)
Reverso medium small seconds (someday)

I then plan to have a fifth slot that will be reserved for an interesting Seiko, like my Sarx055. Perhaps I'll upgrade to a vintage Grand Seiko or a Grand Seiko quartz at some point.

I can't imagine needing anything more.

I’m planning on a 6 watch collection (close enough, right?)

My next watch will likely be a 126710 BLRO

Then hopefully the updated Nautilus (successor to 5711 as long as it’s steel)

My 6th watch will be a Patek Philippe Annual Calendar and my current favorite is the 5205R

If I win the lottery I’m getting the 5270P

Here they are so far

This is a tough one because there are still a lot of watches I haven't tried. Here is where I'm at today:
  • 39mm Explorer Mk 2 (own)
  • GMT2 BLRO (own)
  • Stainless Daytona C white dial (own)
  • ALS 1815 Up/Down in white gold with silver dial
  • Apple Watch in titanium (own)

I hate that my list has no diver, but my favorite diver right now is probably the Sub, but I feel like I'm already Rolex heavy.

Currently debating trimming down to 5 myself. At the moment it would be:

Speedmaster hesalite on leather
Rolex sd4k
Vacheron overseas chrono gen 2 white
Omega seamaster nyc edition
Grand seiko snowflake sbga011

Ask me to narrow this to 4 and we get into problems...

Man, I don't know. I feel like a Sub, DJ, and/or Daytona would definitely be in my top 5, if not all 3... and I don't own any of them.

I currently have 6:

Don't think I will add anything at the moment. I do really want a Patek Phillipe 5396G as a dress watch, but i rarely ever wear anything formal, so I'll probably eventually scrap the idea.
