Coral Red OP: 36 or OP 41?
Which size is best for a 7" wrist? I have both sizes on my wish list at my AD.

I mean I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I absolutely love the size and dimensions of the 36. I've tried both on and I just can't get with the 41. It's just a little too much for an OP, but that's my opinion and you're bound to hear a ton of varying opinions. I personally am waiting on a 36 silver. I know the sizes of the cases aren't exact, but have you gone in and tried on DJs the 36 and 41? Obviously the cases are a little different than the OP, but it would give you a decent feel

For OP, DJ, and DD my preference is 36mm option.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and can comfortably wear either size. I've owned a 39mm OP and enjoyed it but after a while, being my main watch, it felt a bit large for what it is. I sold it for a 36mm and haven't regretted anything.
There's no single best option here. It really comes down to your personal preference. Maybe you can check in once per week and ask if any OP models have come in and if you can try them for how they look on you. Mention that you definitely want one and already placed an order request but can't choose blindly. They may have one tucked away in the safe that you could try on. Dray mentioned trying both DJ36 and 41 if they have those. They're close enough to get a good sense of how both OP sizes wear. Good luck with the watch search/journey! |

Just going by the photo (I haven't been able to try on either yet) the 36mm looks better. The 41 looks a wee bit bloated to my eyes. So it´s all the more important to try both on in person, if possible!

Wrist size bigger than 6.5" can wear 41mm.
I feel 41mm for OP looks smaller than 41mm Sub.

I got myself the OP36 with my 17,5 cm / 6,9 inch wrist.
I was a little in doubt whether the 36 mm would feel and look too small, but I find it great now. The 41 mm was never really considered, for me the proportions are just wrong. Too much dial for such a simple watch. But each to his own of course. I asked my AD which size was in biggest demand, he told me the 41 mm was a little ahead of the 36 mm, but not by much. Here mine: |

I think 38-39 would have been perfect for this model.
36 seems small and 41 a bit big. |

I agree. the size of the 39mm explorer 1 is perfect for me (7" wrist). If I had to choose thought the 41mm is hands down the way to go for me. My wife has this watch in 36mm and it feels so small to me.

36 for me. I tried both on and the 41 just looked too wide. The watch is all dial and if you have a bright colour dial, it becomes a bit too much unless you have a big wrist. For reference my wrist is about 6 3/4. I would say the minimum for a 41 would be a 7inch wrist.

I have a 41 Green on order for my 7.1" wrist. I've worn a dummy sample and 41 fits me just right.

Seriously, dude, get the 41. The 36 will look too small on your wrist.

7 inch wrist, get the 41.
6.5 would be borderline between 36 o 41. |

41 for your wrist and 36 is completely on point and also classier. The 41 is actually 39.x mm. I have a 6.3" wrist and I took the OP36.

I have a wrist just over 7" and I thought the 41 wore too small for me, so I think you will be fine with the 41 as it does not wear big.

With all due respect... 41 men, 36 women’s. Go 41, it looks great on you. My first two rolexes were 36. My next five rolexes were 40mm+. Sold my 36s, no regretss
