Case size Query?

Is this measured from outside of case to the other side of the case as opposed to Crystal diameter?

I've seen a lot and i mean a lot of 34mm cases sizes described as 36 and some 36 described as 39mm is this just disingenuous or open to interpretation depending on wear you measure from?

From outside to outside of case and probably the easiest way to measure is along the 10 to 4 diameter.

As Noah says, easiest way is measure 10 to 4 unless the crown or a pusher is at 4.

It's weird being the same age as old people.

Case size Query?

I tend to use this picture as a good reference:

The red arrow would be similar to the 10 -4 measurement referenced above
